We invite you to build with us.

TABLES brings together Chicago residents to discuss, design, and build dining tables, take them home, and use them. What happens at those tables is documented and shared across the city. Cohorts are intergenerational, and no woodworking experience is required.

  • Time commitment: (2) 3-hour sessions a week, for 8 weeks

  • Location: We are mobile, and our build site changes from cohort to cohort

  • Cost: pay-what-you-can (no one turned away)

  • You, your household, and your table will be documented
